How to get to Sitka Alaska Airlines has daily flights to Sitka from the lower 48 States. It is our recommendation to make reservations three or more weeks in advance with the airline. More than likely, these rates will be the cheapest available. | Where to stay If not purchasing a sports package, we suggest that you reserve a place at a remote lodge, local bed & breakfast, or hotel (Sitka Hotel, Westmark Hotels). | Keys to a Great Trip We considered a successful fishing trip will occur if these variables are met:
Plenty of fish | Good timing
| Good weather and sea conditions | | Unfortunately we cannot control these variables however we will do everything possible to make your trip enjoyable. |
| What to Bring Temperatures in Sitka range from 40-65 degrees and it occasionally rains. Warm, layered clothing and rubber or waterproof footwear are recommended. Rain gear will be provided. Bring your camera and lots of film because you will be up-close and personal with Alaska's natural wonders. Wildlife is a common sight on the way to our favorite fishing holes, and don't forget your sunglasses and sun block for sunny days. |
